So I live in a neighborhood where there are a few open networks and every time I open up my mb pro it automatically chooses the open unprotected ****** signal of a network a couple houses away other than my protected strong network. I always have to go up into the corner and select if manually. It's just a pain. Anyway i can block that network? Anyone have a solution?

Go to the list of Preferred Networks and remove the said network.

And does your MBP auto-connect to your home network?

got it. I deleted the bad network and dragged my home one to top priority. Your suggestion did the trick! :D
