So my battery in my Macbook has become victim to the infamous battery bulging :( I immediatly took the battery out as soon as i realized it was bulging but i have two questions:

1. Will Apple replace the battery?

2. Is it bad for my macbook to run it off the charger with no battery in it? I'm pretty sure it's not but just wanna make sure.

1) If you're within warranty, I'd expect so.

2) It's fine, but the CPU will downclock to half speed. This is not preventable.

Alright thank you for confirming that, I have an appointment with the geniuses at Apple tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully they'll replace it

Well i just got out of my local Apple store.

And i left with a brand new battery :) It was quick and easy and i was done in 5 minutes, gotta love that Apple customer service :)
