MacBook battery issue, please help?

When the plug is pulled from my laptop, it dies! The battery is fully charged bt it doesn't take over when the computer is unplugged... In the System Preferences where you adjust the power saving settings it shows that the battery is charged....

Has anyone else had this problem with their MacBook? Or any other Mac laptops?

Try a SMC reset.

If that fails defiantly get it replaced.

Then contact Apple (hopefully you're still covered under warranty).

I have basic warranty that the computer came with - minus the phone support. So my option is to buy the extended warranty at this point and that's $300 + so it looks like I'll have to do that...
