I was wondering if the battery life is good on my macbook

There are soooooo many variables.. What are you doing? Ripping DVDs? Playing music? computer sitting at idle??
No one can tell you anything without knowing what your doing at the time..

with a full charge and only firefox and adium opened up.
the keyboard backlight off
and my screen brightness level of only 1 bar (however you'd wanna phrase that); I just unplugged it from a full charge here and its showing "6:11" of time remaining.

I'll have to install that widget and see what he says!

Like the poster above said, you have your magsafe plugged in so we can't tell you anything about your battery..
Unless you're just asking about the 98% health... how long does your battery last? Unless it's drastically lower than a normal one, I wouldn't worry about it. Also, try calibrating your battery... usually that will fix the health, unless of course, the battery is just old or going bad.
