Macbook battery price?

I'm looking to get a new battery for my macbook, how much are they roughly?

Apple's are $129...$116 if you qualify as an education customer. FastMac sells their own third-party one with slightly higher capacity for $100.

Get one off greedbay (opps I mean ebay) used for around $75. Ask how many charge cycles the battery has, this will tell how many times the battery has been charged.
IE.. if the battery has 50 charge cycles, then the battery has been charged 50 times. The less charge cycles, generally the new the battery (unless the macbook is always plugged in).

Is your macbook still under Apple's limited warranty, if so call Apple for a replacement.

I don't have a problem with my battery, i'm looking for a new battery as I travel a lot on planes and trains. Having an additional battery will give me an alternative option.

Maybe you can take a look at ebay, but there are many low quality battery there./
