Macbook battery seems to either be tampered with or it is coming apart? Help plz.

Hi,
My Macbook battery seems to either me tampered with or it is coming apart. I want to separate the battery from its outer case to see if it has been tampered with or if the seal has just come apart. Does anyone know how to do this? Please assist, with thanks

I would very highly recommend NOT taking apart your battery. I don't know that it would be possible to put it back together, and you could get shocked.
