Macbook battery-Should I wait til it completely dies to replace??

I just received my new rechargeable macbook battery because I currently have the "replace soon" notice on. Should I wait until it says- "Replace now" and then use my new battery?

I figured I would run the old one out completely---to get the most out of it. Since the batteries cost $ and I had to replace the original after two years.
