macbook battery will not charge

Hi
My Macbook is working only online with power adapter.
Green/red LED on adapter connector is not switching on Battery is empty but not charging. In right top corner on display on battery indicator is showing connector.
I was try to change power adapter - same result. Then i replace battery (with full battery) indicator shows empty battery but battery is still not charging.
have ideas?

So I relocated and Have not used my mac in like 3 weeks. Well I go to plug it up to let it charge and it will not hold a charge. Has anyone been through this problem and if so whats the fix(besides spending 130.00)?

It's a battery problem, you'll have to get your battery replaced. My friend had this problem before, he couldn't switch on the macbook without the charger plugged in.

yeh this happened to my brothers macbook and he just took it in and they gave him a new battery and it worked fine again.
