So here's the deal...about a week ago I managed to spill a beer into my Macbook (white, 2008 model). I am lucky enough that everything still works. My only problem is that the space and enter keys are super sticky and take a lot of effort to press.
Here's my question / situation:
The casing is also cracked. I know that apple replaces this for free, regardless of warranty since it is a defect, and I've already had it done 4 or 5 times since I've owned the computer, and they replace the keyboard as well. My only concern is that when they open it up they will see liquid damage and end up charging me. If it is something I'd have to pay to have fixed I'd rather just put that $300 towards a new MacBook.
I guess my question is, for those who are familiar with apple's repair procedures, does it seem to risky to take it in, get the casing repaired and act ignorant to the fact that the keyboard is sticky?
