So a few days ago, my Windows laptop has an issue which rendered it useless. It turns out it was the OS, and I do not have any Windows DVDs except for XP which gives me BSODs on this laptop(even changing ACHI,etc).

So I decided to use my USB stick and burn a Windows 7 iso but it turns out, I can not do this in Mac OS X.

My last option was installing Windows XP on my MacBook since I do not have any DVDs(Only 700mb CDs) nor does the MacBook support USB booting.

I finished the install, successfully. I loaded Bootcamp drivers with my Snow Leopard disc and everything worked fine except for the Wifi drivers. I went back to Snow Leopard and found out that the Wifi card is a Atheros 9280. I downloaded the drivers from an Atheros CZ driver site. Loaded them in XP and success!-kinda.

The drivers are working. I can detect networks but then when I connect to my network I receive a BSOD and restarting doesn't help since it saved the wifi settings and tries to connect. I fixed this in safe mode but still receive this issue.

The error is IRQL_DRIVERS not equal or something like that.

Anyone have a fix or drivers that are compatible with XP?

I have a MacBook(Black) 1,1 Core Duo 2.0GHZ with a GMA 950. Airport Extreme(Atheros 9280).

EDIT: Uploaded the drivers incase anyone wants to take a look at them.
