RULE NO. 1
DONT TAKE OFF THE VIDEO CALBE TRYING TO FIX IT WHEN THE COMPUTER IS ON

If you do that you are going to brake your I/O Board and may be the Invert board!

So step by step!

Fot the blue line This could be 3 probably errors

a) the LCD
b) The LCD Cable
c) Mother board

so you have to try one by one

Change the LCD video cable on ebay or ifixit.com its cost to me about 20-30 dls in my case donst work :s

change the LCD but also get one that it fits with the macbook also in ebay and ifixit from 150 dls to 300 dls

And rock and roll there is not more a blue line on the LCD

But In my case i make the bigest stupid thing ever! when the computer was on i take off the video cable to see if there was a bad communication data cable, but there was an spark and the backlight dont work any more so i have new problems I can see the image with a extra light like is with out light. so the probably errors are:

a) the LCD
b) cable Invert Board to I/O Board
c) Invert board
d) I/O Board
e) MotherBoard

-The LCD was new so the LCD is not the problem
-The cable I make a test with a multimeter and was fine
-The Invertboard dosnt fix any thing :S
-And in the 95% is the I/O board

so i hope my errors help some one to dont make it again, or give a new solution!

I dont speak english so i do my best to explain who to fix it!

And i try www.ifixit.com There are the best selling parts fast also in the wordwide

If you have problems with the motherboard you can try to fix it with this ebay user, and the can help you "myworld.ebay.com/mac2maconline"
