I know many people, the internet over, have been having problems with their macbook, but as far as i can tell none like this.
My macbook was working fine one night , playing music, surfing the net and so on. I left the room, came back and it was off, i figure the power cord was out so I check that, suprise suprise it was still in, I pressed the power button and a light flashed in the display, that was it, like a mini LED, but it wont start, not even a grey screen, im begging for a grey screen but none, it just flashes whenever i press the power button. Now could anyone give my a hint as to what might be going on ....please .

Try booting up from the hardware diagnostic dvd. If that doesn't work try removing alternating sticks of ram (if you have more than one).
