My Mid-07 MacBook's HDD (320GB, 7200rpm) otherwise works perfectly. It's recognised, I can access and edit files/folders, its formatted correctly and it's been verified and repaired. But after installing Mac OS X 10.6 and doing the required restart, it boots to a blank white screen, chimes but no cursor.

Can anyone help?

Hold CMD+Alt+P+R as soon as you press the power button. Continue to hold these keys until you hear the Apple 'boot chime' 3 times, then let go.

Does this make a positive difference?
