hey guys
My rMBP 2014 recently got water spilt on it. i took it to an apple store and they informed me i needed replace the logic board and the top case amounting to around 1100...yeah quite expensive ahah.

in any case i can boot to the login screen and i can access recovery mode. from recovery i managed to surf the web just fine on safari but when i try to repair my disk with disk utility it says it cant mount the ssd. does the mean i only need to repair the ssd? just want a heads up before i go to a third party repair store.

THANKS!

No, more than likely it could mean that you also have an issue with the SSD -- if you've spilled liquid through the keyboard the chances of just the SSD being damaged are about 0.

Do you have a 15'' or a 13''? For a machine as new as yours (depending on how high end you customized it) an Apple flat rate repair might be your best option $755 13'' / ~$1250 15"
