Alright, hey guys i'm new here at MacRumors!
well i recently bought this white macbook(mid '07) 2.0ghz from my brother, and it's well taken care of... everything looks mint/new! :D

Specs
C2D 2.0 GHz
2gb RAM (also does it support 3gb or 4gb?)
160gb hdd (What's the max? I might upgrade sooner or later)
and last but not least... (TOPIC)
Superdrive...

well in the sepcs it says i do have a combo drive WHICH in fact reads dvd's

well my problem is... I recently bought iLife '09.
It just won't read DVD's!! any dvd's.... :(

So is there some kind of fix.
or do i just need to buy a new drive, i was hoping to go for a superdrive..

any links for ebay? (If that's okay to post links here....)

Thanks People!

There's no limit on hard drive size. Yes, you can install a superdrive, look for a UJ857-C. Also, there are other superdrive models that will fit your macbook. The superdrives are a direct replacement.

Or you can put the disk into another mac, create a disk image, transfer the ~9gb disk image to your macbook's hard drive, and install it right off of the hard drive.

Thanks for the help guys,
I'm waiting for about my next pay check, and hopefully i'll get it ordered!
:D
and after that i'm done with my macbook project.
what's the maximum RAM?
some people say it's 2gb, and some say it's 3.25gb?
which one is max for the 2,1 macbook?
