I want to go out to get a new Macbook soon, but I don't want to leave the store with an imperfect model and having to come back to exchange it. So: what are the things we need to pay attention to when buying a new aluminum Macbook?

- slanted keys
- loose battery cover
- uneven backlight
- dead pixels
- ?

Anything else you guys could add?

well the uneven backlight will probably be in every macbook, because i think it has to do with the actual panel itself rather than the backlight...

just make sure YOU'RE happy with it...thats all that matters

if everything else is fine but you have slanted keys, then don't exchange it because all of the new macbook's will most likely have slanted keys.

you can fix that by yourself also in 5minutes...
