I notice that my Macbook's camera is on even though I'm not using it. I assume it should only be on when I'm on a video cam web site. Is someone hacking into my computer? How do I turn it off?

What applications are open while the camera is on?
Have a look at the Dock and even Activity Monitor (select SHOW ALL PROCESSES) and select all (CMD+A) and copy it (CMD+C) and then paste it (CMD+V) into here or go via the print dialog (CMD+P) and save it as PDF and attach it to your next post.
