I brought my macbook in 2007. Recently, when I was using the computer, it suddenly shut off. Then, I did the following things trying to boot up.

- With adapter plugged in:
without battery: Green led light on. Can't start up the computer
once the battery is plugged in: Green led light changed to orange light. after about 10-20 sec, switched back to green led light again.
Tried remove adapter=>hold power button 10 sec=>plug in adapter=>continue hold power button for 10 sec=>repress the power button=>Not Working

- With battery plugged in:
after first time shut off, I press the power button again. It started on for about 10 sec. then shut off again. I did few more attempts, it started on only for 5 sec or less. Currently the battery is completely dead because cannot charge from adapter.

I tried with another 60W MagSafe power adapter. Same things happened as described above. Therefore, I determine that it should be my MacBook is still able to get power from battery, but from adapter.

Anyone have same situation and know how to fix it? or any advice can help further pinpoint which component causing the problem?

I'm working on few other projects on this laptop. So really need to get it fix.

Thanks
