Hello, i have a macbook and there are only three vents on it. One long one in the back and two little ones to the side of it. As i see other laptops made by Dell and such, there seems to be more vents and thus I think it is the reason why macbooks get heated up more than other laptops.

ANYWAYS, to my question, is there a way I can replace the bottom casing of my macbook to a shell that has more vents? (i.e. on the bottom) I am not talking about cases that protect/cover the macbook, but the bottom white case that surrounds the battery and such and that are bolted down by screws. PLEASE TELL ME if there are these kinds of cases that are sold, or if anyone has done this. Thanks.

Find a chainsaw, and carefully cut a few holes. (Joking, please don't)

OR

Stick it in the freezer. (Joking)

OR

Laptop Cooling Fan.

Never heard of a custom case for a laptop. It wouldn't be a Macbook anymore

I think a laptop is designed the way it was intended to be designed. I don't think there is a way to get a custom case but you may be able to mod the case you have, but know that whatever you decide you will void whatever warranty you may have.

Hi,
I have a macbook also. U said that the macbook heats up more than other laptops. That is not true. My sister has a dell and it gets so hot she has 2 turn it off and stick it in the freezer (not joking) for a few minutes.
MACS ROCK!!!
