Has anyone got any of the cheaper unofficial MacBook chargers? Being a student, I don't fancy forking out £60 for a charger if I can get one for £15 thats just as good.

Thanks guys!

I wouldn't trust or recommend any non-Apple battery or charger, due to the number of problems reported with "knockoffs". Also, there is no assurance that knockoff batteries or chargers have the same charging technology that Apple uses, involving the battery, the MagSafe adapter and the Mac's logic board. Apple has not licensed its MagSafe adapter technology to any other company.

The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.

Thanks GGJstudios,
I'd had a look at the FAQ, but just thought I'd find out if anyone had been using one at all, I don't want to risk it, so I'll just go official, I guess I'd rather spend an extra £40 than a couple hundred!
