Im new to mac's, and i have had my macbook for about 5 months.

i just read in this forum about "clean installs" and how they give you more space.

if someone can please let me know how to do this now after i have already started using computer, and if should save all my stuff.
also wil this erase the wrk i did on iWeb.

thanx for the help.

A clean install does just what it sounds like - it erases everything on your computer and re-installs the version of Mac OS X that you have so that when you turn it on it's like you just bought it

YES .... Save all your data files onto CD's or DVD's

To do a clean install just insert your Leopard disk and when prompted chose "Erase and install", but please make sure you have all your data safely backed up and also make sure you have your program disks to reinstall the software programs.
