Does anyone have any information on the Macbook "Clones" i.e.: what to look for and recognise one?? I feel i may have been the victim of a "friend" (or so i thought) who offered to upgrade and tidy up my mac but when i got it back some things were just not the same - Anybody please??

Pictures and Screenshots

Can you post any pictures of the actual MacBook?

Can you post screenshots of the Operating System?
Screenshot: Applications > Utilities > Grab

"some things" being?

The clones that are out there are pretty poor renditions. One would be able to spot immediately.

Post some pictures of the MacBook in question.

Next time, I wouldn't be so quick to trust someone who isn't a certified technician to service your MacBook.;)

Are there physical differences or just software stuff? Did you have an older OS that he might have updated for you?
