Macbook compatible hard drives

Hi everyone,

I´m just wondering if the only requirements for a hard drive to work with macbook is that it´s 9.5mm high, 2.5 inch SATA?

If there´s anymore requirements or anyone wants to offer suggestions for a good low cost hard drive I´d appreciate it.

2.5" SATA is good

I recommend the Scorpio Blue 500 GB
It is a terrific HD

You can even go for the 7200rpm versions up to 500GB these days.
But get at least a 250 or 320. OWC has a good selection at good prices.
