Macbook Confused Display ?

Hi people
I have an interesting one to put to the forum to see if any body has experienced this and have fixed it.

I have a 2007 Macbook when the power is in the display work fine.
BUT on battery the display will not power up,

replaced the inverter, inverter cable, LVDS cable, LCD ?

same result even tried a diff battery.

Any Ideas.
