Hello,

I would really like to be able to use my 24inch LED display with my Macbook, but as the laptop has a mini-DVI connector, it doesn't work.

Now, for much cheaper than I wold have thought (only 17$), I managed to find the 3 pieces I needed to link them. Now I know they would physically fit together, but my question is this: would the signal get to the display?

Here's my planned set-up:

MacBook (with Mini-DVI connector)
+
Mini-DVI male to DVI female
+
DVI male to Mini Displayport male
+
mini Displayport coupler (female to female)
+
Apple LED Display (with mini Displayport connector)

Is there any chance the signal might get through? :-D

Thanks

Loa

It sounds like it only works that way, not vice versa like you would be using it. As far as I know, you need this
