A couple months ago the battery on my 2007 macbook running snow leopard pretty much exploded. The battery was suddenly bloated and wouldn't work, it didn't fit in the battery slot anymore. So I took it out and eventually was able to get a new battery and charger. But the problem with the computer still persists.

The problem goes like this:
Plug charger into computer, computer begins starting up; light in front comes on, whirring, suddenly shut down. Hadn't even gotten to a grey screen yet. Then computer starts up again, this time it makes it to the apple loading screen, then suddenly it shuts down. Rinse, repeat. This will continue until I unplug the computer. Note: the new battery is installed when this is happening. I checked the lights on the battery as I installed it as well, one green light comes on and then goes off.

I've tried doing commands to do stuff like start in safe mode etc with no luck seeing as how it can't even stay on long enough for anything to happen. I don't have an OS disc, but I do have the OS on a USB drive. Tried putting the USB drive in to maybe get it to do SOMETHING. But it still did the same thing.

What's wrong with my poor computer? :(
