Hey,

I've heard about Apple replacing MacBook casings if they're cracked, but does anyone know exactly what they replace and if anyone's had success with getting them to do it for free in the UK?

I have an Early 2009 MacBook that has a large crack across the center screw on the bottom, harline cracks along the front, just under the palm rest and it looks as if the trackpad/keyboard assembly is lifting from the bottom case.

I'm asking here first as my nearest Apple store is about an hours drive away... I'm hoping if I take it to them they might replace the entire case for nothing.

Thanks
