Macbook deleted apps

Hi,I am in Egypt at the moment with a Macbook with Mac O S X 10.5.8.
I have accidently put iDVD and disck utility in the trash and deleted the trash!!!!.
How can I get them back, I cant save anything off the computer as i cant format the W E 320 GB external hard i have just bought. I dont have any Installation discs with me.Please no replies with the word "stupid" in them.Thanks
