Macbook Display with Parallels

My Macbook display doesn't seem as sharp since I've installed Windows Parallels. ANd when I'm in Windows XP I can't seem to get that display resoultion greater than 1280 x 768. ANy suggestions appreciated.

In Windows, right click on my computer -> Properties
Click on the Advanced Tab
Under Performance area click on Settings
Under Visual Effects, select Custom and be sure to uncheck "Smooth edges of screen fonts"

Also edit your virtual machine in Parallels and make sure to select Allow Custom resolutions under display I think.
