MacBook down can't update 10.7.3 bad internet connection

I have a core 2 duo macbook with 4gb ram and a 60gb hd and have lion on my macbook. Unfortunately it will not download the latest update (10.7.3 on the update software area) it will download about 500gb in and then say that it is incapable of connecting to the update server. It is an early 2008 model is this SERIOUSLY the reason why I can't update if not any suggestions? Thanks


Also, webpage loading is a joke on it. Google is okay, it works at regular speed but it can't access anyother websites. It just shows as being partially loaded then the webpage freezes. I would just download chrome but beautiful catch, problems with lion not working even though it's on the macbook.

Do you mean, you can't download the 10.7.3 update via Software Update or do you mean something else?
