Our IT department frequently misspeaks. ;)

They're tell me that since I have a mac I can't reliably use their 802.11a connection. I can't find any information on Google for this. They say it's "well documented".

This is going against two things.
1) I'm pretty sure I use that all the time at home and it works fine.
2) Their networked was quite good for a couple months until this week and now they bring this up...

Anyway, info is appreciated! :D
