Hello all, final after almost a year planing it, I added the second hard disk on my macbook (white early 2008)!

Everything worked fine in the beginning and I was so excited! Had the SSD on the disk compartment and the old WD 320GB 7200 disk replaced the DVD.

Everything was fine for almost two weeks and then suddenly the disk started being really slow! I checked the 320GB disk and it was corrupted. I Backed up, formatted it, and restored. Things were good again. Now it started making some funny noises from time to time... and I am afraid that I haven't done something essential from protecting it from working constantly.

Is there something I need to do to protect the disk from constant use on the dvd compartment? Please help me! Thank you in advance!

That's what I thought too... but wondered if I just did something wrong or it was just about to happen anyway!
