Hey wizards,

My MacBook (2,1 - 2GHz - C2D - latest software) has started exhibiting some strange behaviour in that it has stopped giving me the "battery low, connect to power source" message before dying. It would seem to me that the battery is dying at about the same time that it would otherwise, but in situations like watching a movie in full screen, there is no warning given before it shuts off. It will start up just fine after I connect it to AC power.

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

I would guess the battery is dying. Have you calibrated the battery lately. That will most likely reset the computers logic to see when the battery is about to run out of juice.
