Haven't been able to find able to find another person with this problem:
I tried to eject a CD from my Macbook today (25th Anniversary Blade Runner Soundtrack)
1: I tried the eject button - does nothing
2: I tried dragging it to the trash. First it asks me for my password (!!!), then comes up with an error: "the operation cannot be completed because one or more items cannot be found. (Error code -43)". The CD is definitely still in there.
This is really annoying, and the rest of my upgrade hasn't gone too well ether (tried changing the background colour of a pages document - seems it can't be done! Anyway, back on topic..)
Thanks in advance for the help
[Edit: works when ejected in finder, so the CD is now out, but I still have a useless eject button, and possible future problems. Isn't Leopard sorted of these quirks now?)
[Edit 2: now I see you have to hold down the eject button
Sorry about that]
