Today (August 23, 2010) when I went to go to my MacBook Pro there was this message telling me to restart the computer(mac). I usually leave my mac on all night (sometimes with the lid closed). When I went to restart it, the screen was black and there was this load beeping. I was forced to turn it off by holding down the power button. I figured out it was probably a RAM thing (from a post on the apple forums), but how can I prevent this in the future? Do I need to go to the Apple store??? Thank-you!

Update:
My mac is a MacBook Pro 13"
with 5 GB of RAM (4GB + 1GB)

UPDATE2:
After restarting the first time (after the beeping) I got the message again and was forced to restart.
This time it restarted without problem.
