So this morning I updated my firmware on my MacBook to 1.1 and now it won't play DVD's! I watched a movie last night and it worked without problems. I tried several DVD's after having insta;;ed the update and none would read. It would load the DVD in, spin up a few times, and then spit it out. The drive does work however on CD's and data discs...

Any ideas?

I did the update too and did some tests, my drive is in great shape, no problems. Could just be back luck I guess, call the Care of Apple.
