I have the unibody macbook 2.4 ghz
and I was wondering what kind of cable I would need to
hook it up to this monitor I am planning to buy. I would appreciate your help is it the mini dvi, or mini vga, or mini display port? Thanks.

Thanks for the link , is there a difference in picture quality between VGA and DVI?

DVI uses Digital information while VGA is the older Analog technology we used with CRT's.

You probably wouldn't recognize any difference unless you are very cognizant of display technology, but as the monitor you are looking at is an LCD you want to use digital input.

BTW the best monitor out in the wild right now is the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA which, with the ever reoccurring discounts and coupons, is just a few dollars more than your monitor and has a technologically superior panel.
