My friend's MacBook's (White, 2.2ghz C2D) fans run all the time, even when nothing is opened. When I say run, I mean they are full blast - 6,000+ RPMs. I downloaded Fan Control to see what the temperature was. It says that the left fan is running 6,208 RPMs and the right fan registers at -1 RPMs. This is only with Safarie opened, because I'm typing this, and System Preferences opened so I can see what Fan Control says. Does this mean that the right fan is not working at all? Also, looking at the back of the computer at the vents, the vent all the way to the left, the side with the power button, is completely blocked. Is it supposed to be like this? The computer does not have AppleCare. About how much would it be to have the fan fixed?
