Macbook fans spin when doing basic tasks. . .

I recently installed leopard and initially everything was fine. It was Ok for a few days. Now however, the fans are on all the time way faster then they should be. Is there something I should try or do to sort it or is the heatsink/something expensive broken?

can you check your activity monitor and find out what processes are taking all the CPU?

theres one called PrintJobMgr which is taking up ~99 CPU. Is that the culprit? Is it safe to end that one?

wow. thank you. thats such a relief. It seemed to be that process. I had some issues printing off the other day so that probably went wrong then. Thanks very much!
