I am brand new to MacBook as I just acquired a MacBook Pro about three weeks ago. I was wondering if the book, "MacBook for Dummies" would be good for me to have. I am getting along fairly well with my new MacBook Pro, but I'm sure there are many things it can do that are currently beyond me. I have the Sierra OS and I believe this book is more about the El Capitan OS. But, could I still benefit from it?

I've not read it personally, so I can't really say. However, David A Cox, on YouTube, does some great videos on how to use Mac's and do things in general.

Plus, of course, you can ask questions here ;)

I've watched some of the David A Cox videos. A good source for info. Been using mac for a few years now, learned some new things from some of his "classes".
