Hi guys, quick question

Is it worth me spending the extra cash for a macbook pro rather than the middle range Macbook (with 4gb of RAM) just for the extra graphics power?

Im planning to use mine for the photoshop, flash and video programs such as premier and after effects...

Macbook tech specs:

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM
160GB HD
Integrated Graphics

Thanks

The Macbook would run just fine with all the stuff you've mentioned above.
But as soon as you get into Maya, Motion, etc. That's where you will bang your head and regret getting the macbook. Also if you get the mid-end Macbook Pro, I believe it has a slightly faster processor, which isn't much, but can mean a significant difference in the time it takes to render videos and effects.

I would personally say go for a Macbook if your not doing anything too advanced.

thanks for the reply...

yeh im not planning on doing 3D graphics, except the odd stint on after effects...

mainly making skate edits on premier :)

but thanks for the reply, helped me a lot in my decision, getting the macbook :)
