Has anyone ordered their new Macbook from Amazon? Amazon states 3-5 days but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Where did you see 3-5 days? For me it says "item has not yet been released"

If you just search for Macbook where all of the different types of macbooks show up it says 3-5 days but when you click it and go to the individual macbook page it gives you the "item has not yet been released"

That 3-5 days means that once it ships it takes 3-5 days to get to you, but it has not been released and I asked the and they have no idea of when they will get them

Ah I see, didn't see that. I emailed and chatted with someone at Amazon and neither was able to even give me an estimate to when any would be available.

Actually a few weeks ago a 3rd party was selling them on Amazon and they were in stock. It was shipped by amazon but sold by someone else.

It's safer to get shipped and sold by amazon right?

It is just easier for returns generally. I have never had an issue with buying something sold by someone else and fulfilled by amazon. Just make sure there is no restocking fee.
