I'm on the look out for a MacBook:

Core 2 Duo
Preferably the black model
Ideally 2GB RAM but 1GB okay.
At least 120GB Hard Drive.
Boxed w/ usual accessories
Within the price range of £500 - £700 max.

It seems I can get a good deal on the US eBay such as this one:

NEW
MacBook Black
Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz
1GB RAM
160GB Hard Drive
SuperDrive
GMA X3100 graphics

$1,294 which is about £664

Are there any differences between US and UK MacBooks (other than the power supply)?

Thanks

the keyboard is a little different

In what way?

EDIT: A quick check and it seems the return key is the most obvious difference, as is a bigger left shift key, plus the §/± and `/~ keys all being switched around. Doesn't sound like a big problem really.

US/UK differences aside, I'd be prepared for a long wait in the least, and possible Dispute Resolution action at worst with this vendor. I have been looking at purchasing a MB myself and came across this ebay vendor, but note the number of unfulfilled winning bids/'duration of shipping' complaints.

Whilst not making groundless accusations I believe the feedback and vague shipping time on-auction page instructions from the vendor may well speak for themselves.

See if you can prise a one-off private seller, after undertaking standard checks, to ship to the UK. A well-priced powerseller will be even better of course but I had trouble finding a reliable one.
