Ok lets cut the story short. I have a 2012 mbp with an upgraded 6gb ram and just few days back i popped in a 120gb samsung 840 evo. But ever since the temperature,as measured by iStat menu, shows considerably higher temperature during normal usage or when running parallels desktop. Its get to about 90 degrees Celsius atimes. Is that okay. I hope it wont fry my computer this is my first mac. Lol. Help out guys!

You probably have an errant process eating away at CPU cycles, or the drive is indexing itself due to the new install.

Either way 90C is fine for the computer. It'll shut down if it gets hot enough to damage itself.
