Hi,
Recently my macbook hard drive failed. I am not sure as to the reason, but I have read online that in most cases you can recover the data from it easily.

My brother has a copy of Data Rescue 3 from when his laptop hard drive died about a year ago so I am planning on using that.

Should I most likely be able to get my data back?

I am looking to get the "New 2.5" USB 2.0 Aluminum PATA IDE Hard Drive Enclosure" from Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-2-5-USB-2-0...e_Internal&hash=item2eaf734003#ht_2942wt_1488

Should that work fine?

It says it works with all: 2.5" 9.5mm IDE laptop hard drive.

Is that what a macbook hard drive is?

The macbook is about a year or two old.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
