MACBOOK : Heat & Shocks

Hi guys,
I have had 2 intel macs since they changed over.

The first being a MBP first gen.
The second being a Blackbook santarosa.

Both were nice but had their faults.
I want to buy the new deluxe macbook .... but need to hear from any one of you that has one.

1. does it get over hot
2. has anyone noticed that buzzing / static or electric shock that comes with some of the alloy macbooks (as they can work as a conductor).

As its these 2 factors which is most important for me.

On my MBP they only got worse over time.

I have the 2.0ghz new macbook.

1. Actually it's surprisingly cool. I used it all night last night and it was just barely warmer then when I took it out of the box. I don't know about your black macbook but mine use to get pretty toasty this one has stayed cool.

2. I haven't experienced any buzzing/static or shock whatsoever. Perhaps certain people attract it and I'm not one of them though. I don't know.

i have the new 2.4, its almost chilly after using it...

slight exaggeration, but it is surprisingly cool after using it until the batter ran out

Are the fans loud? I have a Black MacBook and the fan gets noisy when watching YouTube. Also it gets pretty warm on my lap. I need to test these out. I am very tempted to purchase one.

No the fans are not loud. It's extremely quiet.
