Hello,

I have the 1st Gen 13" Macbook Unibody Aluminum. I upgraded my ram to 4GB.

But...

Whenever I watch youtube/flash videos on full screen or play even games like Counter Strike on lowest settings. My Macbook heats up like crazy.

Any reason know why this may be the case?

Thank you,

Well, I'm worried cuz once it led to my logic board burning, 2nd time, my fan stopped working.

So I'm kinda afraid to play games on my mac.

Your Mac will automatically shut down if the temps get too high.

just installed smc fan control, and when i play cs:source on mac it goes to

86 degrees
6200 RPM.

thats ridiculous

If you take the time to read even a couple of the threads I posted links to, you'll know that 86 is not hot at all for a MBP. Your temps are normal.
