I just got a macbook 2010 and the palm rest feels like a matt finish and some what sticky and the hinge is lose at one point where it would just tile by itself. If I still the laptop is still under warranty with apple, would they repair these?

If they determine there's a manufacturing defect, yes. If they determine it's from normal wear or damage, they'd charge you to repair them.
