Hey all,

I have 25 new MacBooks (Intel Core Duo 2's) I need to rollout. I have a MacBook now that has all the software/apps I want to use on the new machines. I want to clone from one machine to the other via Firewire. (If someone knows a better way, I'm all ears) Normally, the e/iMacs(PPC3/4's) I reimage with no problem by putting the #2 machine in Target mode, booting the donor off the install CD, then using DiskUtility to restore the known good image onto the fresh machine. However, this does not work on the Intel based machines.

Any ideas/recommendations?

Anyone recommend any 3rd party software that will make my life easier? There will be times where I may have to deploy an image to 100 machines at a time. I know there are apps to do this, but specific titles and personal experience is important to me.

Thanks

Nate

Carbon copy cloner an image of the good machine to external. boot target in target disk mode - format with disk utility then install the image using ccc
