I bring my Macbook with Mavericks to work. I am unable to send emails to people outside of work because the spam filter blocks it before going out. I use Outlook web.

The IT department at first said it was a false positive and made some changes.

However I still can't send out emails.

Now they are saying that my computer is infected with malware and its injecting code into the email header. The spam filter is stopping it.

I used ClamXav to run a scan and it found phishing emails in my Mail program (Heuristics.Phising.Email.Spam).

Is it possible that my Macbook is infected with Malware like this?

Part of the error message is:

Diagnostic information for administrators:

barracuda.
Remote Server returned '554 rejected due to spam content'
